According to geologists, mountains are formed because of volcanic activity or the movement of the plates of the earth. This is often a slow process, taking millions of years. There are many mountain ranges throughout the world, all of various ages and sizes.

The connection between man and mountains is as old as man himself. Since the dawn of early humans, we have lived on them, travelled through them, climbed up them and been inspired by them.

Mountains create distinct weather patterns, with snow, rain and harsh winds sometimes seeming to come from nowhere. Even the skies above mountains have clouds that often do not appear elsewhere.

There is no doubt that living or travelling on a mountain is a hazardous business.

No matter

how severe the conditions,

how high the mountain is,

how extreme the weather, or

how much danger is involved,

people will probably carry on exploring and enjoying the challenges that mountains bring us.

IF YOU DON'T TAKE THE MOUNTAINS SERIOUSLY, THEY DON'T TAKE OFFENSE,

IF YOU LOVE THE MOUNTAINS, USE YOUR LEARNING CHANCE WHEN YOU ARE LIVING.
